Authors Notes: I forgot a few things. One, I do not own Doctor Who or Law and Order UK. Second, this is because of a prompt over on who_contest (LJ). The prompt is Law and Order. I should have thought about arresting the Doctor, might have been funnier. Not sure if I'm going to post it. Might just be for fun.
Today was an day off.
The Doctor had some repairs on the console and a few other areas of the TARDIS, so Donna had planned to go shopping once she had woken up. Her first step out was into a puddle. There was a terrible rainstorm and she had to hurry back in before she was entirely soaked. “Ugh, there's no way I'm going out in that,” she complained, walking back to her bedroom so she could change into dry clothes.
After going to the library and realizing that she actually didn't want to read, she moved down to the room with the telly that was hooked up. “Lets see what's on,” she muttered, flipping through channels. The first five channels held nothing of interest and she ended up continuing before she saw a familiar face.
“What a minute....” She turned back, but the face wasn't there again. She gave it a few more minutes before the face came back on again. “It's Martha!” she cried.
Of course, it wasn't actually Martha, as Martha wasn't in England at the moment, but the woman looked so much like her that she scrambled for her mobile and started looking up her number. Then the titles came and she was credited as 'Freema Agyeman.' Curious, she watched the show while looking up the woman on the internet.
When the Doctor ended up taking a break from his repairing for a cup of tea, he ran into Donna with her laptop, looking up more on Freema while she watched the show. When she showed up, he said, “That's Martha.”
“She does look a lot like her, but it's not her,” she proclaimed, “Freema Agyeman, she plays one of the prosecutors on Law and Order UK.”
“Oh come on, really?” He sat down next to her and started watching.
“Martha's in Chile, investigating a possible sighting of Sontarians.”
“Ah,” he voiced, watching the show for a few seconds. “What is this about?”
“Solving crimes and then making sure the perpetrators go to prison.”
He nodded, “Yeah, sorry, not interesting.” He jumped up and walked back out the door. “I'll be in the garage!”
“There's a garage?” she questioned, before turning back. “How is solving crimes not interesting?”
