"Tosh, how's the translation on the tech coming?" Jack asked as he stood behind her. The writings were on the screen while she ran them through a translator of alien languages.
"Slow, it's about halfway through the base and that's taken a day."
"Ran it through Earth languages?"
"Earth languages? You mean human?"
"There's also Elvish, Gnomish and Centaurian. Just because the fairies were bad doesn't mean the other ones are." He flashed a grin at a shocked Tosh and wandered up to the office.
"Ianto, o god of coffee," Jack whispered, wrapping his arms around his waist, "Is it possible to get a cup of your," a small kiss on the back of the neck, "fantastic," another placed on the cheek, "coffee?"
Ianto completed the way around by pulling him into a kiss for two minutes, traveling up his leg and brushing up against the rapidly hardening member and rubbed against it. He earned a moaning and a deepening of the kiss. "Are you sure that's the only thing you want?"
Jack flashed a wide grin. "Have enough time for a job?"

"Okay, half of known alien languages done. Let's see if Jack was telling the truth," Tosh muttered.
"Haven't found out about that yet?" Gwen asked, bounding up the steps and nodding at the screen.
"Just over half of alien languages and nothing above sixty percent match rate. Jack told me to go over Earth languages."
"Human languages?"
"Apparently there's also Elvish, Gnomish and Centaurian."
"Like what exactly, Lord of the Rings?"
"It could possibly be like the Elvish in Artemis Fowl." Gwen gave her a weird look. Tosh shrugged. "It was interesting."
A bang alerted them to Owen running in the direction of the bathrooms. "That's the third time today," Gwen commented.
"I hope he's not getting sick; he'll never leave the Hub and then pass it to us," Tosh added, checking the program to see that it was working accurately.
"How long has he been sick?"
"Since yesterday. He stopped in the middle of an autopsy, said the stench of the body was getting to him. That was the first excuse."
"How many times yesterday?"
"Four times. Left the Hub without a word. This isn't like him."
"Should we tell Jack?"
"If it goes unchecked for another day, we'll tell Jack."

Owen noticed something was wrong as well. The first night of sickness, he took a vial of his own blood and ran it through every human virus and disease. Now, he was starting on the alien ones.
Gwen had left at seven, determined to see Rhys while he was awake. Tosh was giving a small presentation on the artifact he recovered about three weeks ago. Why isn't she waiting to present this to the group? He shook his head to dislodge stray thoughts as he went back to the analysis.

Tosh waited a couple of minutes before acknowledging herself. "Tosh, come on in."
She closed the door behind her, raising an eyebrow from Jack. "First off, there was no definite match to the symbols, Earth or alien."
"I'm sensing a but."
Tosh smiled. "But they was a ninety percent match to Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics. I used those to mostly translate." She took a breath and sat down. "From what I've translated to the best degree, it's a fertility machine. Allows women and in certain cases men to repair or grow the carrying organs of the species."
"Interspecies?"
Tosh nodded. "I also partially translated on another part. The Egyptians didn't have the correct symbol and the closest one matching it doesn't make as much sense. It has something to do with the speed, the time of the pregnancy, somehow enabling the body to produce faster."
"Have kids faster?"
"Grow the kids faster in the womb. They revert back to normal growing patterns after they're out. This device allows those that can't have children to have them and it also shortens the pregnancy."
"Okay, Tosh, why did you bring this to me?"
"Owen's been sick. It's just been yesterday and today, but it corresponds. The pregnancy is shortened by at least half. A normal pregnancy..."
"Would have morning sickness at six weeks, but the machine would start it at three." He nodded. "Okay, go home, spoil yourself. You deserve it. I'll take care of Owen."

"That's impossible."
Two times, three times. Medium levels of HCG, rising levels of progesterone.
"There's got to be other reasons. Other conditions," he mumbled, running his fingers several times through his hair and biting his pen with extreme force. His brain went through all the things he could think of. It only came back with that answer.
"How am I..." Pregnant? Okay, rationalize, when was the last time I had sex?
''That's easy; when you were with me.'
No, no. If I'm getting morning sickness, that means it was before then.
'Last time you were with a man was just after the Sleepers. It was me.'
Maybe it was a reverse. I was with a good looking broad around the right time.
'It was me.'
It's not you. He really wanted to believe that, but he couldn't.
I can't deal with this. I don't want this child. Nobody would want this child. Jumbled thoughts went through his head. He kept going deep while he picked up a scalpel. I can't do this. I'm sorry. He started cutting down the length of his left arm.
